CAROUSEL HOUSE

SUNRIVER, OREGON

A 1970's time capsule reimagined for modern travelers.

Carousel House is a 1973 home in Sunriver, Oregon with original features, wood paneling, and loads of retro charm.

Carousel House's owners wanted their Airbnb to feel intentional and memorable, not just another listing in the short term rental market.

Our goal was simple: to capture the joy, nostalgia, and warmth of the home’s story, and to turn it into a brand guests would fall in love with.

We started by uncovering what made Carousel House unique: its playful architecture, vintage soul, and the feeling of stepping into a simpler time: a return to analog. From there, we built a brand rooted in retro leisure: think sunny vacations, road trips, and records spinning in the background.

Through brand strategy and visual storytelling, we shaped an identity that felt like a love letter to the past but perfectly suited for today’s traveler.

OUR APPROACH

The Carousel House logo is a beacon back to 1970's travel ephemera: warm tones, groovy details, and a touch of whimsy. The color palette celebrates the playful side of the era, while the typography brings structure and modernity to give an editorial flair.

Every design choice, from the logo suite to the custom matchbooks, helps guests step into a story: one that feels both nostalgic and inviting.

THE BRAND IDENTITY

We extended the brand across every guest touchpoint:
  • Photography that highlights texture, light, and energy of the space.
  • A polished, enhanced online listing
  • Guest experience details like matchbooks, coasters, and postcards that feel like souvenirs.
  • Home styling and amenities that make every corner feel considered.

The result is a cohesive, joy-filled identity that captures the spirit of the home and the people who created it.
